The Sweethearts Foundation recently had the privilege of participating in the FirstRand Volunteer NPO Business Challenge, marking a pivotal moment in our quest for a more impactful and sustainable future. Through enriching workshops and engaging with other NPOs effecting positive change, we found inspiration and guidance from a wisdom panel overflowing with knowledge.
This unique opportunity was more than just a chance to earn and grow; it allowed us to forge deeper connections with our incredible supporters. The FirstRand Volunteer Program and the FNB Fiduciary Unit took this connection to new heights by making a remarkable donation, leaving an indelible mark on our organization.
These contributions extend beyond mere monetary value; they directly touch the lives of 13 deserving beneficiaries. The impact of this generosity goes beyond enhancing their daily lives; it creates a positive ripple effect within their families. Many of our beneficiaries have endured lengthy waits on government lists, relying on family members for movement. With the provision of these wheelchairs, we empower families to lead more fulfilling lives.
