After more than a decade of collecting bread tags and plastic bottle tops (and changing so many lives along the way!), we made a bold move to expand our Sweethearts Collection list. Why? Because we’re committed to doing more—more for our planet, and more for those waiting for a wheelchair. 🌍💜

So in case you missed the memo, here’s a reminder of what we now collect:

While the classics—bread tags and bottle tops—continue to pour in (thank you!), we’ve noticed the newcomers aren’t quite getting the same attention. Cue the sad coffee cup lid emoji. 😢

1️⃣ Start separate tubs or containers for each item—label them clearly!

2️⃣ Spread the word—your local coffee shop, workplace, or school might not know we collect lids too!

3️⃣ Rally your crew—get your family, friends, and even your barista in on the challenge.

4️⃣ Drop off responsibly—make sure your collection is sorted before delivering to a collection point. Every lid from your morning cappuccino, every tab from your weekend braai, could be the next step toward freedom of movement for someone who needs it most. Let’s not let these unsung recyclables go to waste.
